| Swearing pays off! |

| A SWEAR jar at a social club in Stanford-le-Hope has generated £624 for Little Havens Children’s Hospice.
The jar has been sitting on the bar at the Constitutional Club on Victoria Road.
Anyone who used bad language on the premises was fined with the proceeds going to the Thundersley based hospice.
John Hegney, vice president and chairman of the club said: “Swearing was quite rife within the club but after introducing the Swear Jar it has slowed down a lot! We charged 20p per word or six words for £1.
